Written in 2003 by Muammar Mauricio of task force partner Integrated Development Program for Indigenous People - Southern Tagalog (IDPIP-ST), the report details in both empirical and narrative fashion the state of food security among the Dumagat in General Nakar, Quezon, Philippines. Written before the devastation brought about by the series of typhoons in 2004, the report predicted the serious consequences of illegal logging and unbridled development in the area that, in effect, adversely affected not only the Dumagat but other communities as well.
